A verified creator is a site or channel that has connected a wallet and completed Brave’s verification process to receive BAT tips or earnings. Once verified, that property appears in Brave’s transparency metrics and is counted toward the relevant platform.
Platforms tracked typically include Websites, YouTube, Twitter/X, Reddit, GitHub, Twitch, and Vimeo. The exact set can change over time based on Brave’s integrations and is reflected in the dataset.
This page uses the same dataset as the rest of the site and shows a last updated timestamp (month and year). Counts typically refresh monthly when Brave updates their transparency data.
MoM change is computed from metrics.categoryGrowth by subtracting the previous month’s count from the latest month’s count for each platform. The “Last Month Net Change” KPI sums those differences across all platforms.
Creator counts may decrease if properties are unverified, removed, or consolidated, or if platforms change verification rules or API coverage.
Data is aggregated from Brave’s public transparency resources and exposed via this site’s /data endpoint. If the live endpoint is unavailable, a local example dataset is used for display. Learn more at brave.com/transparency.
