What counts as a verified creator?
A verified creator is a site or channel that has linked a wallet and completed Brave’s verification steps, allowing them to receive BAT tips or earnings. Once verified, the property is added to Brave’s transparency dataset and counted under its platform.
Which platforms are included?
Brave currently tracks Websites, YouTube, Twitter/X, Reddit, GitHub, Twitch, Vimeo, and other integrations. The set can evolve as Brave adds or retires integrations, and the table reflects whatever the live dataset reports.
How often is creator data updated?
This page uses the same transparency feed as the rest of the site. Counts typically refresh monthly when Brave publishes new transparency metrics. We surface the dataset timestamp in the hero card.
How do you calculate month-over-month change?
MoM change leverages metrics.categoryGrowth. We subtract each platform’s previous month total from the latest month total, then sum those deltas for the “Last Month Net Change” KPI.
Why can creator counts decrease?
Counts may decline if creators disconnect wallets, get unverified, delete channels, or if Brave adjusts integration coverage. Negative deltas highlight those removals.
Can I access the underlying dataset?
